Laundry Policy

Short Stay

At Firebrick Properties, we provide two types of laundry services: Regular and Express.

Regular Laundry Service:

  • Garments collected by 9 A.M. will be returned on the same day by 7 P.M.
  • Garments collected after 9 A.M. will be returned on the next day by 7 P.M.

Express Laundry Service:

  • Garments collected by 12 P.M. will be returned on the same day by 6 P.M (exclusive of dry cleaning).

Terms of Service for Short Stays:

  • The charges listed per linen item are for regular service.
  • Express service incurs an additional 50% charge on the regular service price.
  • Liability for loss or damage during normal cleaning is limited to 5 times the cost of cleaning charges of the garment.
  • We are not liable for shrinkage or colour bleeding due to inherent fabric defects or worn-out conditions.
  • While we take great care, minor tearing of clothes due to wear and tear may occur.
  • Please provide special washing instructions for specific garments.
  • Payment should not be made in cash; the amount will be debited to your room bill.
  • Kindly check pockets before sending laundry.
  • Laundry should not be left outside the door without informing the housekeeping team.
  • Laundry baskets are available in each room; please fill in the list and drop it in the basket before requesting the housekeeping team to pick it up.
  • Please specify the count of each article in the applicable column; unless we have your count, the management count is considered valid.
  • All hanger items will be hung in the closet.

 

Long Stay

For long-term residents, laundry (washing and ironing) is included in the monthly rent.

Terms of Service for Long Stays:

  • Liability for loss or damage is limited to 5 times the cost of cleaning charges of the garment.
  • Laundry days are fixed for each room.
  • Laundry will be collected once a week as part of the standard process.
  • Special requests will be considered outside of the standard process.
  • One cycle of the machine is reserved for each resident to avoid mixing of clothes.
  • Laundry will only be picked up in the basket provided in each room, along with the laundry tag.
  • The housekeeping team will cross-check details (room number, resident name, and article count) on the laundry tag before pickup.

Laundry Collection Days:

  • Ground Floor (3 rooms): Laundry collection is scheduled for Tuesdays.
  • 1st Floor (3 rooms): Laundry collection is scheduled for Wednesdays.
  • 1st Floor (3 rooms): Laundry collection is scheduled for Thursdays.
  • 2nd Floor (2 rooms): Laundry collection is scheduled for Fridays.

Additional Guidelines:

  • Laundry picked up will be returned to residents by 7 P.M. the next day.
  • Special requests for additional pickup or delivery times can be made to the housekeeping team.
  • Please cross-check for shrinkage and colour bleeding due to fabric defects or worn-out conditions.
  • Slight fabric wear and tear may result in minor tearing of clothes.
  • Special washing instructions should be provided for specific garments.
  • Cash payments are not accepted for laundry services.
  • Residents are requested to check pockets before sending laundry.
  • Laundry items should not be left outside the room’s door without prior notification to the housekeeping team.
  • Laundry baskets are available in each room; please fill in the details on the laundry tag and drop it in the basket before requesting the housekeeping team to pick it up.
  • Management counts are valid unless you provide a count.
  • No claims will be entertained for the loss of articles due to fire, theft, burglary or damage to garments that cannot withstand normal cleaning.
  • All garments will be returned folded to the residents unless otherwise requested.
